Welcome! This tool allows students to verify their Art+Design computer lab or darkroom access privileges, and request access if necessary.

Before proceeding, please read the following information:

• To obtain lab access, you MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A COURSE at UIUC. Previous semesters' course enrollment or access does not qualify.


• ONLY access to computer labs and darkrooms can be verified/requested online. 3D labs and ink printing facilities require specialized equipment training and/or safety orientations.


• You will be assessed a facility charge for use of labs each semester; these charges appear on your tuition bill and vary per facility. See the facilities charge pricing chart for details.


• ALL lab users must read and comply with Art+Design Procedures, Policies and Guidelines for computer labs and/or for darkrooms.


• This tool requires you to login with your NetID and NetID (bluestem) password. For more information, visit the CITES passwords home page.


• Most access requests will be completed within 3 business days.
